ALEX FYDRYSZEWSKI

Alex is the President and General Manager of CWTAP. He handles the day to day operations of the station. He also leads the sales and marketing team.

Alex began his radio career while a freshman at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, when he was hired to work for WGPA "Sunny" 1100AM by Polka Hall of Fame Inductee "Jolly" Joe Timmer.  He began in the sales team, where he found early success and on-air opportunities soon followed. Throughout his tenure at WGPA, Alex helped re-invigorate the legacy station as a mainstay within the community.  Alex culminated his decade long run at WGPA in 2015, rising to the position of General Manager along the way.

Alex also spent time in Pittsburgh where he established a name for himself by founding Three Rivers Broadcasting and anchoring newscasts at KDKA Radio, the oldest station in the nation.

This is his second stint here at CWTAP, this time as the President. He served as the Director of Business Development while working with Uncle Jeffrey prior to his stint in Pittsburgh. He was part of a management team that saw CWTAP rise from a small local outlet to a channel respected throughout the region for its live and tape delay coverage of fairs, festivals, sports, polka dances and more. ​

 

He's also the co-founder of the Steelworkers Polka Band. ​​

 

Alex resides in the rural outskirts of the Lehigh Valley. When he's not running the station, you'll find Alex at a local sporting event or taking advantage of all of the great outdoor activities our region has to offer.
